Description: Abelia grandiflora, medium sized, vigorous, arching, densely growing, semi - evergreen shrub. 
Flower: pale pink clusters of tubular fragrant flowers begin in late June and continue bearing until frost. 
Foliage: glossy green leaves turn bronze in autumn and more purplish as winter approaches and stay colorful until they fall off shrub which depends on weather.
Misc. info: there are  about 20 varieties and is happiest in protected areas with mostly sunny to light shade conditions. Should be pruned back in early spring.
